Bimmer 5 series highlights the evolution of the bmw 5 series automobile.
We begin this evolution with the first bmw 5 series. The bmw e12
was introduced in 1974 to the European market. It was not until
1979 when the first bmw 5 series hit American roads. Our journey
flows through the creation of the bmw e12, bmw e28, bmw
e34, bmw e39, and ending with the dramatically redesigned
bmw e60 platform. Introduced in 2004, the bmw e60
has redefined the ultimate driving experience.
We of course could not forget about the legendary bmw m5.
First introduced to the European market in 1979, the bmw m5 is the
ultimate driving machine. The next generation of the m5, bmw e60,
offers exotic car horsepower (507bhp) from a daily driver.
